My teacher wants to read "Principles of Sociology" by James M. Henslin 7th ed.?

Now my question is ... What is the difference between the 7th edition and 6th edition? The same information is written again in the 7th or new information is there? I know that the information exactley can not be found on the same page in the edition of another but is the book of the same? Is it worth to buy the 7th edition .... by the way they already have Electronic access to books online, but wanted to have something in person.

They do not need a 7th edition, if no changes since the sixth. His teacher said 7th edition, so I would go with that - if you take a test with outdated information in your book, you're going to ask the wrong questions and will be responsibility.
