The first big mistake I see many owners of Web site content for the first time doing is not paying for traffic in the early stages of their life sites.

I know, I know, free traffic is the way to go if you can get it and many well thought out site will eventually start to receive lots of free traffic search engines. The problem is that it may take many months for the free traffic to peek, and in the meantime, many people are discouraged and often sometimes quit, just before you start seeing results.

We certainly live in a world of microwaves these days ... we want everything now, preferably morning, as cheap as possible, in many cases, and we can not expect anything. I have seen many people work for 6 months building a large theme based Web site content, and only when they were about to succeed and free traffic was coming over the hill, they lost their enthusiasm for what they had created because was making money fast enough.

Listen to me right here ...

It's OK to pay for traffic to start the ball rolling. You've got to do so in an intelligent, clear, or you'll have a lot of pain with not much to show for your money. But buying traffic using keywords carefully selected in Google and Yahoo Search is a legitimate way to start making money with your site, sooner or later.

As I said, he is aware and a strategy to make it work, but it is a way to quickly make your new site profitable, and rekindling your enthusiasm if you're hoping to see results. Having many visitors is a problem most website owners would like. A large and growing flow of traffic allows you to create systems that produce income flows in progress and put them on autopilot.

So remember, once you have some pages set up correctly (and you have a way to capture your visitors name and email address), to pay the traffic and start building a relationship with your visitors through your newsletter immediately, not wait for the search engine traffic to turn up because it can take several months for that to happen ...

Another factor to consider is that the search engine traffic is terrible. If you base your whole future on a continuous supply of search engine traffic alone, you are on land very unstable.

Each time you change a search engine is the algorithm, your page rankings can change wildly, which can play havoc with your income (and therefore lifestyle). You've got to diversify your traffic flows and small PPC ads are a way to do this.

And one final tip.

Do not just send visitors to your site and hope that they spend their money with you ... is a huge waste of time. Make sure to send your visitors to an opt-in form where they have to sign up for a mini-course, an ebook to download or some other form of gift you instead.

Getting visitors (especially the visitors you already paid) for a list should be your preferred answer, if you want to build a long-term Internet companies viable.
