Children love to play. Who can deny? So why not use this universal feature of providing and promoting language learning English as Well? If you do, you can hardly go wrong. What child is going to say, Teacher "A", I donÂ't want to Playa? Course, a fine account possible Ita - but also a force of five tornadoes in South America or  "Armageddon earthquake level in Tibet. It Just donÂ't hold your breath waiting youÂ're.
Toys of all types and genres are available worldwide. Why not transform this to your advantage to motivate your young students? Besides, your not-so-young learners would also benefit, especially those learners who are "a young at heart "for those of you who might be teaching adult learners. Search Leta certain  "realiaÂ" or "Toys" that are commonly available and could be involved. (pun)
 • animals and dolls plush --
A favorite perennial learner even my more mature adult students waive a Awww "A" whenever I whipped the likes of Winnie the Pooh, Mickey, Tigger, Rabbit, dog, Teddy or other of my menagerie of stuffed animals. You can simulate conversations, use them to illustrate the prepositions of place and position as rotating machines or a "learner" put in a game or activity. They (stuffed animals) donÂ't mind shaken either.
 • Soft rubber or a balloon --
How a classroom could not function without at least one of these is beyond me. A learner may make a "Selecta" another in a boring mill, TPR or group activity by launching just the ball to someone else. In this way the teacher wonÂ't  »favorites play during the activity. A ball can be used in a relay the signal to the learner following a sequence or game. If Italian is dropped or badly treated, no problem it just bounces a couple of times or two before returning to the game. Neat, huh?
 • Cars, trucks and other vehicles --
Learners can to "driver" to places in a district, part of the room to another or from one position on a plateau game to another. Small can be used as markers in a board game, while larger ones can be used as accessories in the dialogues, games roles and conversations. DonÂ't forget to use them for grammar and verb business practices either. And oh yes, girls and boys like them too. Adults? Well I must watch my accessory in thoroughly or adult students  "steal" them!
 • Games  --
You really need only a small selection of games, if you have even a shred of imagination. Two or three work very well. Some favorites of all time are those as "Scrabble", a "Monopolia", a "CheckersÂ" and "Chess" which both use the same colored squares around the edge. Use the tables to "create" your own games too. DonÂ't forget a bridge or two cards to play either. No, not poker, but for simpler, faster playing games such as  "Wara", a "Fish" or "21a" (A-numbers no Blackjack!)
Please note:
IÂ'm not a proponent of using guns or simulated firearm of any kind in the classroom, not even water pistols. None of the bats, hitting, aggressive behavior or promoting any type Realia usually enters my learning environments. True you can get aggressive behavior of some toys IÂ've mentioned, but the ITA easily crushed or land without undue difficulty. Explain just for learners what's allowed and whata is not. Of course, this is by no means an exhaustive list. IÂ'm youÂ'll you arrive many of your own local favorites available for use in your classroom. In fact, if you have any unusual or unique realia that you use, love IÂ'd hear about it.
