Asus, the creator of the Netbook category in computers, has definitely outdone themselves and imitators, with the Asus Eee PC 1000HA. The latest model from Asus Laptop Budget Lineup, the 1000HA is a beautiful version of his predecessor 1000H with rounded corners and a glossy surface.

But there's more than the 1000HA what meets the eye. It might look vulnerable to stains and scratches, fingerprint data, but the netbook has a rugged and robustly built to withstand the use and abuse of daily use.

Cheaper by $ 50 than the 1000H, probably the only downside to this netbook is the elimination of draft-N wireless and Bluetooth connectivity, but they will not be missed anyway. Under netbook users, draft-N wireless networking and Bluetooth are rarely if ever used to be. The Asus 1000H is running on the Windows XP Home operating system and has a 1.3 MP camera and Wi-Fi-enabled. It has a surprisingly high storage capacity of 160 GB and 1 GB of RAM. You can store a LOT more files than in the Netbook previous models. The battery can be up to an impressive 4.5 hours typical use, and up to 7 hours if left idle.

With its upper end, the Asus 1000HA has in direct competition with Acer Aspire One. The only question is, is the Netbook to the challenge?
