Kindle will change the way you receive and read our books, magazines and newspapers in the very near future
Eco-friendly: people who are sensitive on conservation issues will certainly be attracted to switch to reading books, magazines and electronic newspapers. Just imagine how many trees will be saved
Notebook: While most users hold the device with both hands, it really is small enough to be held in one hand. One of the reasons why e-books had a limited market is because you want to read your computer screen or you would have to print the whole book. For those readers who still want to curl up on the couch with a blanket and a good book, or read while traveling, the Amazon Kindle can now do so. In this respect Kindle expands the market for e-books and their potential gains.
Take: The Kindle reading device electronic book weighs about 10 ounces (which is less than most of the novels of pocket)! Moreover, the Amazon Kindle store hundreds of books and an additional memory card is available. Owners are likely to buy e-books because they have nothing to lose with it. It's not like going to the library or bookstore and hang out with 20 books, without the extra weight is added to the Amazon Kindle, because it is an electronic device.

Buyers are more apt to make a purchase on a whim.
Believe it or not, yoday, the Kindle store has more than 360,000 books, newspapers, magazines and blogs available, and this is only the beginning! Kindle vision is to have every book ever printed, in any language, all available in less than 60 seconds, and they will not stop until they get there.
Sony eBook Reader PRS 500
Good, inexpensive, relatively thin PDA / e-book reader?
I was looking for an electronic book reader and I came across this website: http://www.kk.org/cooltools/archives/000391.php showing a fix for the T6152 Sony Clie. I searched on eBay and the Clie, PDA and some other are relatively inexpensive, since few years. Now, do not really care about age, I just want something to read eBooks instead of my cell phone. (Awkward small screen, backlight only stays on for 30 seconds, eats batteries, etc ...) I just want something that works well. It would also be good if not very thick, but that's just a bonus. I do not really care much about the time that is not huge and, preferably, can fit in your pocket. Any ideas? Ah hours, and looking through PDA for the last half, I've been thinking ... WiFi would be nice too ...
Most e-books are designed for Palm and other PDAs. From now on there are very few exclusive eBook readers. One is Sony. Another reader named made by iRex Technologies iLiad. Amazon has its own reader proprietary e-book called Kindle, but its pocket size and not bulky. In my opinion, only e-book reader from Sony is tailored to your needs. And I'm not sure whether you have wi-fi. Kindle has wi-fi.
