Ebook On Database

"We make a living, what we get, but we make a life by what we give." Winston Churchill.

Leaders are charged to get the most from their workforce. This is also one of the biggest challenges of the leader. There are three things that are often neglected by the leaders, for 93% of the leaders of the team working on autopilot. His behavior is second nature and an awareness of thought and action are not everything in your mind.

People often expect their leaders to carry out a specific standard, defend specific values, contribute to the organizational culture and conduct business in a particular way. Leaders often get disappointed and frustrated when the employees did not any of these functions. Often the worker is blamed for their disability.

What is a leader to do?

First, leaders must understand that employees are similar a database. There is a phrase technologist for databases that states "garbage in garbage out is the same." A database will only give you back what you put into it. You have the ability to present it in many different ways, but still the same data. The leaders will come out of employees they have placed in them. As you or are you willing to invest in those you lead?

Second: Realize that the values that are the reward behaviors you can expect. The hard truth is that their employees are a direct reflection of their leadership or lack thereof. You gave the example, professional tone and standard for your organization. Fashion and the level of professionalism that before you see them on a daily basis is what they will adapt as the standard of organization.

Third: Train your workforce with specific standards and that the organization has provided. Consistently remind and reinforce the employees of the organization's values. Values have organizational value. We've all heard the phrase, inspect what you expect. Routine follow-up with workers to assess and gauge their understanding, adoption and fit within the culture of the organization. What are you willing to give?
