Design Ebook PDF

If you are going to create a PDF ebook, you will need a software program to help you do that. This article does two things. First, the article helps beginner understand the software package from Adobe and how it relates to ebooks. Secondly, it provides a free alternative to create your own PDFs. Since this was my first attempt to create a PDF, this article was written for a beginner for a beginner.

This is my general understanding of Adobe and how this company is ebooks related to PDF.

Adobe Systems created the Portable Document Format (PDF) in 1993.

Adobe Acrobat is a family computer programs developed by Adobe Systems. According to Wikipedia, which were "designed to view, create, manipulate and manage files in Adobe Portable Document (PDF).

Adobe Reader is a program within the Adobe Acrobat family. You can download Adobe Reader for free. This software is used to view and print PDF ebooks.

Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard is the software package needed to create PDF files. The moment I write this package costs $ 299.00. (You can also use $ 449.00 Pro or Pro Extended $ 699.00).

In short, if you would like to read books in PDF you can download for free Adobe Reader. If you would like to create PDF ebooks too, so you need to buy one of Adobes software packages such as Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard.

Since I know that I would like to create PDF files, I decided that I need a software package to do this. But I not want to spend $ 299.00 to create my first ebook PDF. Adobe seems a great product and a package so I can buy in the future, but for my first project, I would to make this as simple and as cheap as possible.

OpenOffice

Recently I discovered a product call OpenOffice, similar to Microsoft Office. This is a free software that can be downloaded at target = "_blank"> www.openoffice.org. I found this product via a You Tube video. " After watching the video, I visited the site instantebookpublishing.com. The site offers information about books and includes a copy of the video above. It is a great video nine minutes that walks you through creating your first PDF with OpenOffice.

I recently put this product to the test. I downloaded the OpenOffice software and used it to create my first ebook PDF. Creating the ebook took less than an hour after the instructions simple video. Again, this was my first PDF and took less than an hour.

The PDF includes links internal and external link. Links built that allowed me to jump from a table of content directly to the chapter that I wanted to read. The external link was simply a link to my site. Creating these links were very easy and the video shows you how.

So, I was able to create a PDF ebook at no cost using the following:
1) Open Office - The word processor that allows me to create PDF files.
Instantebookpublishing.com 2) - nine minutes of video showing how to use OpenOffice to create a PDF.
3) Adobe Reader - allows me to read the electronic book (although not created with Adobe).

From start to finish, took less than two hours.

At this point, my PDF ebook is very basic, but since I only took a couple of hours and I learned a lot, I am very happy with my results. I hope you have the same success.

How do I create a border around an electronic book in PDF format?

If you can show where some tutorials in PDF format that would be great, especially in design, such as colors, images, borders, fonts, etc. I have to learn to do these things in Adobe Acrobat Pro so thanks beforehand.

It's much better to create the original program format before conversion to Acrobat Pro for InDesign is the best detailed contact formats, Word or any word processor works for most things. Imaging and borders in Acrobat Pro is slow and delicate, is very limited as Acrobat file editing functions.

I can get a download link for Introduction to design the system using IC's book by bssonde or any other author?
