So let's get to my second success secret ...

Success Secret # 2: Get Yourself a Mentor

What do all the "super successful" people in community life? A mentor. (Or what my friend Stephen Pierce called the "power of the influence of others.")

Looking back on what helped catapult me to achieve amazing things ... I would say this is definitely one of the key components to my success.

Probably hear about mentors all the time - but I want to clarify what I mean. A mentor for me may be easily from one person, but can also be a book or a CD where I can get "live" access to an expert on a issue.

Now some of my friends in real life did not start that way. In fact, I learned through your tapes, CDs and books. I grabbed his teachings and follow. Only then, almost magically (and without fault), on the road - or months or years - I came face to face with them and had the opportunity learn from them in person.

For example, Stephen Pierce.

First "met" when I've bought "The Whole Truth" (Href = "http://www.the-whole-truth.com)." www.the target = "_blank">-all-truth.com). I had no idea who I was before I read his eBook. But then I began to send him a few questions. And it was also going to be part of an apprenticeship program I created.

The following you know, we have to hang out in person. Then eat together. Then, playing video games together. And before I knew it ... a year or two later ... we were friends ... and was freely sharing some of his incredible wisdom with me. Definitely, I have relied on their brilliant image "great" advice.

And most recently, have been trained by Yanik Silver and Jim Edwards (who went from being just a client of his to have the two most important mentors I've found in my life ... and then to become his business partner in projects).

So have you noticed the crucial element in all my examples?

Are you Ready?

You have to actively pursue his mentor. (Write that down in your notebook. Print. Circle of him!). A mentor NO ... I repeat ... do not choose you. You he or she chooses.

And something important to note: This process takes time. Do not expect a mentor to come to his side during the night. The universe is funny like that. You have to "prove" himself ready and serious. In all previous examples - I had to pay my dues first. I had to invest in books, tapes, classes. And then for a period of time, mentors appeared in the flesh.

The same goes for you. Think about your best friend. Did you get your best friend during the night? Or is he / she will be your best friend for weeks, months, years?

Probably the latter. The same applies to the process of having a mentor.

So why even have a mentor?

Simply, to become a mega-success.

First you must decide "Hey, I want to be better at health / religion / finance / Internet / online marketing / relationships / etc. Who can click? Who do I remember? Who challenges me out of my comfort zone to become a better person? "And then stick to them. You have to make the decision to grow.

And be sure to choose someone that is more successful then.

A perfect example is MLM. If you want to reach the next level in your company, do not look like people who are the same rank you. Go to the people who are where you want to be ... and follow their advice. They are the ones who really know what it takes to get there.

A final advice about mentors: listen. Yes, you may not like their advice. Trust me, I've heard a lot of my mentors that I want to hear or do. But in the end, they have our best interests in mind.

So this time of year you choose an area of your life that you want to take the next level. Then decide who would follow - and go for it. Get books and tapes. Go to class. Do we need to win their knowledge and wisdom.

And then prepare to take your business and the bank the next level!
